The episode opens with an emotional moment as Nitya calls Bhagyashree, concerned:
“Did you meet Appa and Amma? Is everything okay?”
Bhagyashree replies with a heavy heart, “Nothing is fine.”
Anni Grows Suspicious
Meanwhile, back at the engagement venue, Anni confronts Rishabh, questioning why he’s working under Bhagyashree now that she’s the North Zonal Head. Padma tries to diffuse the tension, but Bhagyashree senses the situation spiraling and ends her call to join them quickly, worried that Rishabh might slip up.
When Anni slyly asks where Rishabh and Bhagyashree first met, the two give conflicting answers—but Rishabh cleverly covers up the mistake just in time. The tension escalates as Rishabh’s flatmate arrives unexpectedly, threatening to expose their lie. Quick on his feet, Rishabh makes up a story: “He’s an actor rehearsing a role,” and sends him away.
Rishabh’s Drama at the Engagement
As Meenakshi’s engagement ceremony begins, Rishabh steals the spotlight again by jokingly asking the pandit to marry him and Bhagyashree again, much to Padma’s amusement. But Anni is clearly annoyed, noticing the importance Rishabh is getting in the family.
Sensing that Vinay is watching, Rishabh theatrically places a gajra (flower garland) in Bhagyashree’s hair. Bhagyashree asks, “Aren’t you overacting?” but Rishabh playfully replies, “I’m doing it perfectly.”
Anni whispers to her friend, “How can a married couple be this happy? Something’s off.” Her friend notes that Anni’s rivalry with Bhagyashree clearly isn’t over—even after marrying Bhagyashree’s brother, Karthik.
The Act Continues — But For How Long?
Relatives praise Rishabh and Bhagyashree’s chemistry, and after the ceremony, group photos are taken. Karthik’s wife starts complaining about the hotel food and insists that Bhagyashree take their father and family to her flat. Bhagyashree is shocked but reluctantly agrees. Vinay says they’ll come later and leaves with Padma.
As the family heads out, Rishabh notices Bhagyashree looking stressed. She asks him to call a cab. On the way, a minor misunderstanding over the car window leads to Bhagyashree venting her guilt about lying to her parents. Rishabh calms her down.
Emotional Breakdown at Nitya’s House
Bhagyashree reaches Nitya’s flat in tears, and Naveen respectfully gives them space. Bhagyashree breaks down, finally confessing, “I lied to my parents… Rishabh is not really my husband.” Nitya consoles her lovingly:
“Don’t cry. You made your parents happy. Don’t regret that.”
Twist in the Tale — Rishabh’s Surprise
Just then, Rishabh arrives with the flat keys Bhagyashree left in the cab. He sees her crying but quietly walks away, heart heavy.
Meanwhile, Vinay and his family arrive at Bhagyashree’s apartment. Spotting them, Rishabh panics and hides, aware that Vinay’s weak heart might not take the shock of the truth. He rushes into the building, presses all the lift buttons, and texts Bhagyashree:
“Your parents are at your door!”
Using a hidden pin from the flowerpot, Rishabh breaks into the flat to prepare for the unexpected visit. Outside, Karthik’s wife asks the watchman about Bhagyashree’s husband. Confused, the watchman replies, “Husband?” and clearly doesn’t recognize Rishabh as one.
Final Cliffhanger
Nitya asks Bhagyashree if she’s okay. She composes herself and says, “I’m fine,” heading toward her apartment.
As Bhagyashree reaches her flat and tries to unlock it, the door opens—Rishabh stands there.
Shocked, she asks, “How did you get in?”
Rishabh smiles and says, “I have a surprise.”
To Bhagyashree’s utter shock, her entire family is standing inside the apartment. Her secret may finally be out…
